General Description::
More than a few knowledgeable sailors have praised this Bill Shaw design as a triumph in thirty-six and a half feet.
It might sound like exaggeration to claim the 365 is more accomodating
than many 40 footers, were it not for the proud and experienced owners
who have said she exceeds the livability of many a 42!
Her split rig makes shortening sail a cinch; the bulwarks make wandering around on deck more comfortable;
the fully enclosed shower provides all kinds of niceties;
the nav center provides ample room for a skipper to play with time, speed,
distance charts and electronics; and the U-shaped galley provides
even the most calculating chef with efficient, purposeful storage and workspace.
Accomodations::
With 6' or more of headroom throughout, ash-trimmed mahogany woodwork,
comfortable sleeping room for 5 and an incredibly efficient galley to feed
the crew, it's hard to imagine living anywhere but aboard!
The Pearson 365 was built by a man passionate about cruising, and his
appreciation for comfort under sail and on the hook shows throughout.
Large fuel and water tanks couple with ample stowage behind settees,
in hanging lockers, alongside the V berth, even in the galley make for
efficient living in even the farthest reaches.
4 berths plus pilot berth
12V Adler Barbour ColdMachine refrigeration w freezer bin
saltwater foot pump
fold-away drop-leaf table
Kenyon marine 3-burner propane stove/oven
2 25lbs aluminum propane tanks
Most Important::
This boat is a Sailor's Sailboat. Its not about showing off, its about sailing. Her large cockpit accomadiate more pasangers then many of the 40ft+ boats i have been on. No, its not a hotel, with some sails addded on, as if they are an afterthought. Its a real sailing vessle, made for sailing.
